Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey

After a season of hard work, practice, and plenty of improvement, the SSMHA U7 Group 2 boys took to the ice for their year-end game to the sounds of music by The Tragically Hip.

Our U11 LL3 boys proudly entered the Select Division at the Aurora March Madness Tournament this past weekend, and what an incredible showing they had, bringing home silver medals after an exciting run to the championship game.

The Saugeen Shores U13 LL2 Storm delivered an unforgettable weekend of hockey at the Aurora Tigers March Madness Tournament, showcasing determination, grit, and true team spirit. 

Bayshore Broadcasting has reported on the delegation that took place on February 23rd in front of council.  During this delegation, Becky Smith, SSMHA OMHA Registrar, spoke in front of members and council advocating for a third ice pad that would help to support the future of minor hockey in our community. 

Coaching application for the 2026/2027 Season will open on Wednesday February 25th at 7am for the following teams: OWHA U9C, OWHA U11BB/B, OWHA U13A/BB, OWHA U15BB/B, OWHA U18B/C, as well as the OMHA U9 MD team.
